‘The answer to ending this destruction of our society as we know it is to fire these politicians and elect people who respect and honor the Constitution – Period, Exclamation point.!’
Substack article by Bobbie Anne Cox, NY Attorney at Law
Raise your hand if you voted for our country to become a socialist society where “equity” reigns, criminals walk the streets unfazed by law enforcement because the latter have been stripped of their power, and the government takes the tolls of your labor and your wealth and ‘equally’ distributes it to everyone else.
Keep your hand up if you voted for a communist regime (also known as totalitarianism) where the government owns everything and controls everything (including your children), and you lose your right to own any personal property (like your home, your car, etc.) or make your own decisions (including decisions for your children)?
Did you vote for this, anyone?
If you think either of those forms of government is a good idea, let’s make a date for a very tall cup of coffee and I’ll explain why both of those structures are so terribly dangerous.
Better yet, I’ll introduce you to one of my friends who came from a communist or socialist country, and I’ll let them give you excruciating details about the reality of those horrendous forms of government.
Remember folks, “government” is supposed to be composed of people who carry out our wishes in how we want our society to function.
I’ve said this a thousand times, but I’ll say it again — the Constitution was written to keep the government in check, not to keep the people in check!
But in our world as of late, ‘government’ is no longer what it is supposed to be. Instead, government today is full of people who think they are above you, better than you.
The politicians in charge think you are stupid (or not paying attention), and so they do whatever they want, whenever they want, however they want, with no regard for the people and what we want or need.
Instead of representing us, they represent their own self interests. I wrote an article about this called “Catch Me If You Can” which is here, if you’d like to read it (and I suggest you do).
Someone sent me the following poem in one of those chain emails where the senders encourage the readers to pass it along. It’s fitting for my point, so I’ll share it here:
Tax his land,
Tax his bed,
Tax the table
At which he’s fed.
Tax his work,
Tax his pay,
He works for peanuts
Anyway!
Tax his cow,
Tax his goat,
Tax his pants,
Tax his coat.
Tax his tobacco,
Tax his drink,
Tax him if he
Tries to think.
Tax his car,
Tax his gas,
Find other ways
To tax his ass.
Tax all he has
Then let him know
That you won’t be done
Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers;
Then tax him some more,
Tax him till
He’s good and sore.
Then tax his coffin,
Tax his grave,
Tax the sod in
Which he’s laid.
When he’s gone,
Do not relax,
It’s time to apply
The inheritance tax.

THINK THIS IS FUNNY?
Not one of these taxes existed 60 years ago, & our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had a large middle class, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
What happened?
Can you spell ‘politicians?’
If you want to check out my interview on Dr. Drew, you can access that here, or click the post below to watch a clip of the interview, or click here.
What’s the answer?
Now we come to the legal hook. So many people are asking me what we can do to stop this madness that is destroying our society at such a rapid rate that most people can’t keep up (or don’t want to, since it is so upsetting).
More and more often I am hearing questions like, “Can’t you sue these Democrats to stop them from doing this? Can’t you go after their oath of office? Can’t you get them thrown in jail?”
My answer to those and all the other similar questions is this, not all of our problems can be solved with lawsuits!
I know it’s so much easier for people to want to simply pass the buck onto lawyers like me. I see it all the time on social media or in emails people send.
It’s easy to just complain, to throw an idea for a lawsuit at an attorney who’s “on our side,” and then to pat yourself on the back for having “done something” to help the cause.
Please don’t fall prey to that unhelpful line of thinking.
Furthermore, unfortunately there is no lawsuit I can bring to make the politicians in charge create laws that are for the people instead of against us, or to make the corrupt Biden administration or pathetic Hochul administration enforce our laws that we have on the books.
Even if there was such a legal path, I still wouldn’t do it because I do not have the resources. I’m already fighting two crucial lawsuits on my own dime, and my resources are draining. More on that below.
The answer to ending this destruction of our society as we know it is to fire these politicians, and elect people who respect and honor the Constitution! Period. Exclamation point.
November is not just an opportunity to to vote in a new President, it’s an opportunity to vote in a partially new Congress, and here in New York, an opportunity to vote in an entirely new NYS Legislature in Albany!
This is a tremendous election year.
Anyone who says they aren’t going to vote because the Democrats cheat, my response to you is, then you are part of the problem.
In life, you need to fight fire with fire, not by sticking your head in the sand. Every single person that thinks like we do must vote this November! And don’t just vote, get an entire group together and form a voting block.
It can be your neighbors, your children’s school community, your church, your local book club, etc. Don’t complain… Act! If you don’t, then we will never get out of this hole – no matter how many lawsuits I bring.
Help me help you!
Lawsuits take a lot of time, a lot of effort, and a lot of money. Just to give you an idea on time, in my quarantine camp lawsuit against Governor Hochul, the Attorney General has cited no fewer than 40 cases in their briefs thus far.
So that’s 40 cases that I had to read, analyze and then critique for the court to differentiate them from our case. This does not include all of my cases that I had to find, read, and critique for the court.
To find just one appropriate case to use in an argument, an attorney will typically need to research and read several cases.
I’ve been handling the quarantine camp lawsuit pro bono for 2 years now, and I just filed our appeal with the Court of Appeals, so the case will continue on now into 2024.
My ERA lawsuit against New York State that I just filed in October is another case I am doing pro bono. That case is a fight for parental rights against unconstitutional government overreach.
When I work pro bono, it means it is free to all the people I’m fighting for, but it is extremely costly to me. Every day I spend on pro bono lawsuits is a day I cannot work for paying clients. It is not sustainable.
Please get in the fight. Please invest in your future, and in your children’s future! Help me continue fighting for you by making a donation today. No donation is too small: Donate here
Thank you!
