Time is of the essence; speak up now so your legislators will know your concerns. There are many pressing bills in the legislature, but also some good ones that your legislators need to hear about. S762a (Liz Krueger) A276b (Paulin-D): Provides treatment for sexually transmitted diseases to minors without a parent’s or guardian’s consent.

A4604 (Gonzalez-Rojas-D)/NSA*: Requires comprehensive sexuality instruction for students in grades K-12 which includes a model curriculum for comprehensive sexuality education and at a minimum conforms to the content and scope of national sexuality education standards. S624(Hoylman-Sigal-D)/A2143 (Dinowitz-D): Mandatory Covid-19 shots for college students A2143 WAS STRICKEN / S624 WAS REINTRODUCED 1/24 ACTIVE

S1945(Hoylman -D)/A1811(Dinowitz-D): Mandatory flu shots for all K-12 students in New York State.

S762 (Krueger-D)/ A276(Paulin-D): Allows giving drugs and vaccines for STDs to children without parental knowledge or consent. No statutory lower age limit.

S6103(Krueger-D)/NSA: Permits any child who is at least fourteen years of age to have administered to himself or herself, regardless of parental consent, certain immunizations required or recommended by law.

Attack on Medical Freedoms

S8113 (Skoufis)/A2125 (Dinowitz-D): Limits exemptions from immunization requirements by local governments and private entities to medical exemptions; repeals religious exemptions for certain post-secondary students.

S3373(Skoufis-D)/A1736 (Dinowitz-D): Requires tracking of all medical exemptions by the State

A2905(Zebrowski-D)/NSA: Requires medical exemptions to be approved by the NYSDOH

A1545(Rosenthal, L.-D)/NSA: Requires vaccine industry propaganda to be required as part of middle school and high school instruction.

Miscellaneous Bills 

S305(Salazar-D)/A4454(Hunter-D): GOOD CAUSE EVICTION BILL- Prohibits eviction without good cause; sets forth grounds for removal of tenants.

S562A (Kavanagh-D)/A920A(Gallagher-D): Enacts the “all-electric building act”; provides that the state energy conservation construction code shall prohibit infrastructure, building systems, or equipment used for the combustion of fossil fuels in new construction statewide no later than December 31, 2023 if the building is less than seven stories and July 1, 2027 if the building is seven stories or more.

S1113 (Borrello-R)/A1938 (Goodell-R): Relates to requiring electors to vote for the presidential and vice-presidential candidates in a manner representing the plurality of votes in each congressional district.

S1116 (Borrello-R)/A1966 (Goodell-R): Prohibits ballot harvesting; prohibits a person from submitting an application for an absentee ballot on behalf of a voter without notarized consent; permits family members, caregivers and other officials to submit applications.

S1636 (Oberacker-R)/A3997 (Flood-R): Prohibits a mandatory immunization against the coronavirus for K-12, college and employment.

S5045 (Lanza-R)/NSA*: Prohibits a mandatory immunization against the novel coronavirus/COVID-19

S5051(Lanza-R)/A6619(Dipietro-R): Relates to prohibiting mandatory immunization against the coronavirus.

S6119 (Rhoads-R)/NSA: Prohibits administrative agencies from administering or requiring the COVID-19 immunization unless authorized by the legislature.

A6454(DiPietro-R)/NSA: Prohibits mandatory COVID-19 vaccination; limits civil liability of employers; prohibits requiring vaccination for education, employment, travel or other activities; enacts a vaccine bill of rights.

Bills Restoring Religious Exemption

S1484 (Ortt-R)/A6621 (DiPietro-R): Relates to exempting private and parochial schools and day care centers from immunization requirements.

S118 (Gallivan-R)/A6676 (DiPietro-R): Relates to a religious exemption from vaccination requirements.

A1102(Santabarbara-D)/NSA: Directs the use of a standardized immunization exemption form.

S4316 (Lanza-R)/A6451(DiPietro-R): Establishes strict liability for injuries caused by required immunizations.

Supportive of Parental Rights and Miscellaneous 

A6041 (DiPietro-R)/NSA: Allows persons in parental relation to a child to choose to immunize such child and requires a person to submit a form to such child’s school when such person wishes not to administer an immunization to such child.

S5715(Weik-R)/A4460(Durso-R): Requires a person in a parental relation to a child be physically present during any immunization.

A4900 (DiPietro-R)/NSA: Requires health care providers and practitioners to provide patients with a list of ingredients contained in vaccines.

Sneaky, despicable laws:

S1351 (Hoylman-Sigal-D): Requires that all adult vaccine records must be given to the state BILL PASSED IN MARCH 2023

A2178(Dinowitz-D): Mandatory Covid shots for all K-12 students in New York State.  CURRENT BILL STATUS – STRICKEN

S6541a(Rivera-D)/A7326a(Gottfried-D), Creates an “immunization passport,” pretends to protect the privacy of vaccination records in the State database by denying access to federal immigration enforcement authorities.  BILL PASSED IN DECEMBER 2022
